Culture Loops-Museum Bärengasse

Tales and memories passed on between us by means of social codes, body gestures, insignificant details and myths - all part of a cultural heritage which inevitably shapes our (self) identity. Using documentation, interviews and digital manipulation, different artists take the role of an anthropologist, an "outsider"- penetrating and re-interpreting historical events and the affirmation of cultural attributes. This is an opportunity to examine myths, rituals, stereotypes and the inner paradoxes they implement.
